Veterans History Project Launches Effort to Collect Vietnam War Stories

Because the Library of Congress is always working to collect and share valuable resources for educators, it is very exciting to read that they are reaching out to collect stories from Vietnam War veterans for the Veterans History Project.  This will broaden the breadth of information available to teach social issues across multiple decades, geographic areas and battles.
Some of my favorite primary sources within VHP are found in Experiencing War.  Scroll to the bottom of the page and check out the topics under VIEW PREVIOUS  RELEASES. Looking at the items within Sweethearts, Buddies, Family Ties and Prisoners of War made me consider war in a new way.
